The ICURe Explorer
Hello and welcome to my first ever blog series! In January 2025, I joined an accelerator programme called ICURe Explore (funded by Innovate UK) to begin commercialising clinical AI research from the University of Bristol. Over the next 12-weeks I will be travelling the world to explore market opportunities for our research. This will be my first venture as an entrepreneur and I’m excited (and nervous!) to be stepping out of the lab and into the world of business.
As part of the programme, I will be speaking to over 100 companies and individuals across the fields of digital health, AI and any new markets that I may encounter along the way. I will be visiting companies and attending conferences and trade-shows around the world, trying to learn the world of business as I go. In this blog series, I will be sharing weekly updates of my progress – sharing my successes, failures, and everything in between. I’ll also share personal insights and practical tips as I navigate meetings, conferences, market exploration, and self-development on this entrepreneurial journey, I’d love for you to join me!
